How to submit your work

Thank you for sharing your work with directdaily. If you think your work has something to add to our website, upload it by following the instructions below. All work published on our website is automatically entered in the latest judging round for the directdaily Monthly Merit award.

Attention: Please complete all fields. This will increase the likelihood of your work being accepted.



Image guidelines

JPEG 1200 x 800 or larger; landscape preferred.
Not more then 5 Mb.



Movie guidelines

QuickTime format (.mov)
Flash movies are most welcome (.flv)
Not more then 5 Mb. and no YouTube link please!



Publication policy

Acceptance is not automatic. Please do not send us the same work more than once, as this will not increase your chances of success. If accepted, your work is generally published on our website within a few days. This can take somewhat longer if we are busy, so please be patient. Work which does not meet our standards will not be published.

We generally have a lot of entries to go through. As enjoyable as that may be, this unfortunately leaves us no time to send acceptance notifications. We therefore ask you to keep an eye on directdaily yourself to see whether your work has been published. You will receive an email if your work has been selected for directdaily’s Monthly Merit award.



Terms and conditions

The following information is very important. Once your work has been published on our website, other blogs will most likely copy it within 24 hours. Your work may therefore end up on several other websites. This is completely beyond our control. You are responsible for all content that you supply for publication on our website. All work published on our website is permanent and cannot be removed. Therefore, please obtain clearance from your client and your own management prior to submitting any work to us. By submitting your work, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
